Comrade Huang Rongji graduated from Xi'an University of Petroleum and is currently in charge of the research and development of subsea oil recovery trees in the Engineering Division of Chongqing Qianwei Technology Group Co.
　　
He has more than 10 years of experience in research and development of new fields, research and design of offshore oil and gas equipment products. He participated in and completed the project of "Underwater Oil Recovery Tree R&D and Industrialization" of the National Development and Reform Commission in 1500m water depth, the demonstration project of "Underwater Oil Recovery Tree Product Development and Test Verification" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (the first deepwater oil recovery tree product in China) and the project of CNOOC Shenzhen. The project of Liuhua 11-1 oil field underwater oil recovery tree and supporting tools development project. He has obtained 8 invention patents and more than 10 utility model patents, and completed one first-class China Defense Ship Science and Technology Report and two second-class China Defense Ship Science and Technology Reports.

In the demonstration project of "Underwater Oil Recovery Tree Product Development and Test Verification" of National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the project of developing underwater oil recovery tree and supporting tools for low-pressure oil wells in Liuhua 11-1 oil field of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, he was responsible for the overall design of the project products, overall manufacturing and assembly process design, overall testing process design and part of the project products as the main person in charge of these projects. As a core equipment in the development of offshore oil and gas, the underwater oil recovery tree has been monopolized by foreign companies. In order to solve the problem of the key technology neck of offshore oil equipment and realize the localization of the underwater oil recovery tree, Huang Rongji took the initiative to take up the heavy responsibility as the main member of the design team of the underwater oil recovery tree project.
　　
He led the design team to overcome the key analysis technologies such as underwater oil recovery tree runner corrosion, oil recovery tree vibration and heat transfer and other oil recovery tree flow safety analysis. He achieved breakthroughs in the technology of forging and heat treatment of large steel forgings for underwater use, the technology of overlay welding of corrosion-resistant alloys for large rotating bodies and complex flow channels, and the technology of ultra-deep hole processing for complex parts, and finally completed the underwater manufacturing and testing, and passed the testimonies of DNV and CCS.

The underwater oil recovery tree of the project "Underwater Oil Recovery Tree Product Development and Test Verification" of the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has successfully completed the sea trial in DNV and CCS, and will be installed underwater and put into operation soon to realize the industrial application of domestic underwater oil recovery tree. This move will effectively solve the restrictions of foreign manufacturers on the development of China's offshore oil and gas resources, and significantly reduce the development costs, with strong political significance and socio-economic benefits.
