The interview pointed out that Sinopec has had many accidents in recent years, and in June this year, during the national production safety inspection, national safety risk management of hazardous chemicals and the national "production safety month", Sinopec Guangdong Maoming Petrochemical and Shanghai Petrochemical had two fatal accidents one after another, which seriously impacted the people's sense of security and caused great concern in the society. The impact was bad, and the image of the central backbone enterprise is extremely disproportionate.
　　
The interview requires that Sinopec Group should be aware of the current problems and challenges of safety production, face up to and analyze the apparent problems revealed by the accidents, such as aging equipment and facilities, inadequate competence of employees, inappropriate site management and weak safety awareness, ineffective implementation of responsibility for safety production, inadequate safety investment, lack of talent ladder, ineffective operation of safety management system, assessment "baton" orientation. The "baton" orientation has deviations, low standards of self-imposed requirements and other deep-seated problems, know the shame, take immediate action, take decisive and strong measures, take practical action to solve the problem of full ideological awareness, the problem of safety production position, the problem of essential safety, the problem of full safety production responsibility system, etc., and make every effort to speed up the reversal of the passive situation of the occurrence of accidents.
