3.4 Installation of engine/transmission box
The engine/transmission box and the car chassis are installed with vibration isolation, using rubber mats for vibration isolation. The engine/transmission box is connected as a single whole and mounted in three points, with one flexible mounting point at the front and two flexible mounting points at the rear.
3.5 Driveshaft.
The transfer case and frac pump are connected by a standard driveshaft. The drive shaft is equipped with a removable shroud to allow the operator the flexibility to turn the drive shaft when servicing the hydraulic end of the pump.
A viscous damping silicone oil shock absorber is installed between the driveshaft assembly and the frac pump input flange to protect the engine and transmission from the vibration of the frac pump.
